Celebrate Pekin's rich history at the Pekin Park Foundation’s Bicentennial Bash, a spectacular event set to take place on July 6, 2024. Sponsored by the Pekin Park Foundation, this grand celebration promises an unforgettable experience for residents and visitors alike at the Pavilion on the Lagoon and along Pavilion Drive in Mineral Springs Park.

Fun on the Run Inflatable Area: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Bring the whole family for an afternoon of excitement with the Fun on the Run inflatable area. Kids and adults alike can enjoy a variety of inflatable activities, creating a joyful atmosphere for everyone.

Pavilion Porch Party featuring Mixtape Mayhem: 5:00p – 8:30p
Central Illinois' most rockin' female-fronted party band with all your favorite 80's-current rock/party hits! Mixtape Mayhem is sure to play just the right songs to get you on your feet and keep you dancing all night long.

Beer, Seltzer, and Wine Sales in Pavilion: 5:30p – 8:30p
Quench your thirst with a selection of beverages available for purchase within the Pavilion. A variety of options will be provide a delightful evening for all. Last call will be at 8:15 PM

Hot Air Balloon Rides: 6:00p – 8:00p
For an exhilarating experience, take a hot air balloon ride over Pekin. The rides are priced at $15 per person. Soar above the festivities and enjoy breathtaking views of Mineral Springs Park below.

Unique Twist: 5:00p – 7:00p
Engage in the creative side of the celebration with balloon art providing an artistic touch to the festivities.

Food Trucks:
Satisfy your taste buds with a diverse array of culinary delights. Food trucks will be on-site, offering a range of delicious options for every palate.

Fireworks: Approximately 9:00p
The grand finale of the Porch Party will be a mesmerizing firework display over the iconic Lagoon, scheduled to illuminate the night sky at around 9:00 PM. Gather with friends and family to witness the breathtaking colors and patterns, marking the perfect end to an extraordinary celebration.
